Personalised Bristol City Football Books
Enjoy a Newspaper History of the Robins
Bristol City FC was founded in 1894, with a budget of just forty pounds. The team merged with local side Bedminster in 1900 and enjoyed a great early run of form. The Robins won the Second Division in 1906 and shot to a second place finish in the First Division the very next season. After reaching the FA Cup final in 1909, Bristol City suffered an unfortunate drop in form. The club returned to top flight football for a second spell in the late 1970s.
