Fantastic Diary Gifts for Ipswich Town Fans!

Ipswich Town has enjoyed many years of success in English football, winning the First Division title, the FA Cup and also the UEFA Cup. Although these periods of triumphs have been mixed with more disappointing seasons, the Blues have become famous for keeping their feet on the ground and displaying a quick sense of humour. Due to the agricultural heritage of Ipswich, the East-Anglican derby with fierce rivals Norwich has been tagged ‘The Old Farm Derby’ - in reference to the legendary Scottish ‘Old Firm’ match between Glasgow based clubs, Rangers and Celtic. When they were last in the Premiership, Ipswich Town also took on the nickname of ‘The Tractor Boys’, a joke in reference to Ipswich FC being less fashionable than some of the other longstanding clubs in the Premier league.

Our Personalised Ipswich Diaries feature an interesting array of match reports from the club’s history, which enable fans of the Blues to reminisce upon a specially chosen game or moment, every month of the year. In a convenient A5 size, these Football Diaries are both fascinating to read and also a useful way to keep track of your daily schedule.

Diary Highlights

These fantastic Personalised Ipswich Town Diaries feature matches from both European and domestic competitions and begin with the club’s election into the football divisions in 1938.

Match reports from league fixtures include many promotion-clinching games. In 1962, Ipswich Town would achieve their highest football honour by beating Aston Villa. 2-0 to guarantee the old format First Division Championship.

The A5 Diary also covers promotion to the Premiership, which the club achieved in 1992 through a 1-1 draw with Oxford.
